Strawberry Nut Butter Smoothie
A delicious, blood sugar balancing smoothie that is PURE delight. How can you say no to strawberries and nut butter? It’s always a win.
Now as you scan the ingredient list you might scrunch your nose at chickpeas, but let me tell you, my husband had no idea. I still haven’t told him. But a little bit of chickpeas adds gut nourishing fiber as well as some protein, so it’s worth adding them in.

INGREDIENTS
Strawberry Nut Butter Smoothie
Serves 1-2
1 c strawberries
1.5 c filtered water
1/2 c garbanzo beans
2 tbs organic nut butter of choice (unsweetened, no added oils)
2 tbs MCT oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
4 scoops collagen (40 grams protein)
2 tsp maca powder (optional, for energy and stress resilience)
Pinch of salt
METHOD
Combine everything in a blender and give it a whirl on high smooth.
